Working at MOCO
At MOCO in Kensington, therapy happens in a gym, not a treatment room. Our kids climb, skate, play sports, and work through an obstacle course that is routinely updated. We practice DIR/Floortime, a child-led, relationship-based model, so sessions follow the child's interests, emotions, and relationships. OTs, PTs, and speech-language pathologists on our team consult on cases and share their expertise, so you'll learn from colleagues across disciplines. If you want your work to look like real life for kids, this could be a good fit.
Our Team
Our team brings together dedicated therapists, therapeutic aides, administrative staff, leadership, and community partners who work collaboratively to support each child's growth and success. We value teamwork, shared learning, and the unique contributions each person brings to the MOCO community.
We Believe Therapy Should...
Build confidence.
Foster independence.
Support regulation.
Promote participation.
Strengthen relationships.
Create joyful learning experiences.
Prepare children for everyday life.
We are not interested in keeping children dependent on therapy.
We are passionate about helping them become successful in the places that matter most.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for curious, intentionally playful therapists who enjoy sharing ideas, thinking creatively, and adapting to each child's needs. Whether you're a new graduate or have years of pediatric experience, we'd love to hear from you! We welcome therapists at every stage of their careers, offering new graduates a supportive team to learn and grow with and experienced therapists opportunities to build on their expertise and pursue their professional interests.
What We Look For
Curiosity. You want to understand why a child moves, plays, or communicates the way they do, and you enjoy learning from colleagues in other disciplines.
Purposeful playfulness. You can turn a climb, a game, or a trip through the obstacle course into meaningful therapy, and you have fun doing it.
Flexibility. When a child shows you something unexpected mid-session, you follow their lead and adjust.
A collaborative mindset. You share ideas freely, ask for input, and like working through cases as a team.
