Pediatric Therapy Services at MOCO

MOCO Movement Center is located in Kensington, MD, and sees children and families from throughout Montgomery County, including Bethesda, Silver Spring, Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Potomac, as well as Prince George's and Howard Counties, Washington, DC, and the greater DMV. We provide pediatric Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Therapy. We serve children from birth through age eighteen. Every child's plan is built around the same idea: skills only matter if they show up in real life. At home, at school, on the playground, and everywhere in between.

Interdisciplinary Care

Kids rarely fit into just one category, so our therapists don't work in silos either. Your child's PT, OT, and SLP talk to each other. They compare notes. They adjust each other's plans. Your family is part of that conversation too.

Our Approach: Applied Functional Therapy

Every therapy path at MOCO runs through Applied Functional Therapy (AFT), our approach to turning therapeutic goals into skills kids actually use. Not just in a therapy room, but at the dinner table, on the bus, at recess.

How We Deliver Care

PT, OT, and Speech are the what. Here's the how, because not every child needs therapy delivered the same way.

High Frequency Episodes of Care

Short, focused bursts of therapy where your child is seen multiple times per week for a specific goal. Ideal for a skill on the verge of clicking, or progress that's plateaued and needs a push.

Early Intervention

For children birth to three, the early years are full of movement, communication, and discovery. MOCO therapists know how to help during this developmental window, right when it matters most.
