What Families Say About MOCO
Families come to MOCO from Kensington, Rockville, Bethesda, Wheaton, Silver Spring, Potomac, and across Montgomery County. Some are referred by pediatricians or schools. Some have tried other programs first. Some have been with us for four, five, six years. "My son goes for physical therapy and occupational therapy for his sensory and vestibular needs! His team of therapists are AMAZING and communicate, are consistent, and always on the same page with each other. They are so good at integrating activities that the kids are interested in and make it fun! They are inclusive towards all! Most of the time you have a therapist and an aide! Lastly, the team is all about giving home activities that are manageable to practice. Go to MoCo!"

"I am in the special education field, and when I was told that my little one needed pediatric OT, I knew exactly where I wanted him to go! MoCo Movement therapists have a great reputation and their facility is great! His therapist is very knowledgeable and has helped him improve his fine motor skills so much his teachers at school can see it too. He loves coming to OT and looks forward to it every week!"

"Been going here for a year or so for our daughter who has a mild OT related delay. We are Kaiser members, and both us parents are in healthcare. I think they do a really good job. They are attentive, are service oriented, have been able to accommodate our challenging schedule needs. Being in healthcare I have to say they are doing an amazing job. There are so many limitations and restrictions and things that get in the way of a patient and getting what they need. Kinda refreshing that this place does what it is supposed to do and they make it seem effortless."

Pediatric Occupational Therapy
"My son has been going to MoCo Movement center for the last 8 months. He has made tremendous progress with his gross motor skills, more so than any other PT/OT center we've used over the years. His therapist provides me with a face to face briefing at the end of each of his sessions. The other aspect about the program that I really like is that she challenges him constantly. Pushes him to try harder and do better! Sometimes the therapists will tag-team and he will have a PT and one or two assistants helping out during his session."

Pediatric Physical Therapy
"We signed up for the intensive bike riding class! We had tried popular programs, such as Peddle Jumpers, with no success. We have even tried private lessons. My son was really motivated and truly wanted to learn biking. I can't think of a better program. The two teachers are so invested in your child's learning. Whatever their hiccups might be, they have tons of tricks and experience to get them going. And in just two sessions my son was riding. They are absolutely amazing. I can't say enough. Highly highly recommend and thank you for all of the work that you do for our kiddos! Your passion really shows."

Learn to Bike / Bike Intensive

"We have been going here since my son was two years old and diagnosed with the genetic condition. He is now six and Moco is without a doubt his favorite place to go. As a mom of a kid with special needs it's hard to find recreational activities sometimes, and even though Moco is a place for therapeutic work, it's also a place for fun! The environment is inviting.
