Physical Therapy
Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT) helps children gain the gross motor and functional skills they need in order to participate in physical activities at home, school, and throughout their community.
At MOCO Movement Center, children engage in play as a medium to work on balance, strength, coordination, posture, range of motion, and endurance with the goal of enabling children to explore their environment. Children can participate in physical activities that they enjoy.
Physical Therapists assess each child’s strengths and challenges with standardized assessments, observations, and family consultations. Therapists build on your child’s interests and work with your family to create child-specific therapeutic goals.
We address muscle strength, endurance, coordination, balance, postural/structural issues, gross motor delay, posture and positioning for functional activities, orthotics, and bracing. MOCO also employs the Universal Exercise Unit (UEU) where appropriate.
