Classes at MOCO
Children use thought, strength, and balance on giant obstacle courses designed with oversized blocks, tight-rope-style lines, trampolines, and suspension equipment to acquire foundational skills, including self-confidence and social interaction, and build sports and fitness skills.
Classes provide a unique structured, child-driven curriculum guided by our highly-trained staff including expert athletes, medical and educational specialists! Our dynamic curriculum keeps every child moving and learning in a non-competitive and motivating environment.
MOCO Classes Offer:
• Activities specifically designed to target areas like physical coordination, strength, balance, speed, endurance, self-confidence, self-regulation, etc.
• Dynamic/flexible lesson structure, depending on the interests and strengths of each child in the group
• Professional-grade athletic facility and equipment
• Activities enhancing self-confidence and social interaction
• Basic and intermediate sports strategies and techniques
• Movement skills required to participate in various activities
• Stimulating an ongoing desire to participate in sports and fitness
Classes are designed for children who work well in a 4 to 1 ratio and are both physically independent and socially able to work within a group.
Classes are not designed to focus on therapeutic goals. Therapeutic options are available, please let us know if your child needs additional support.
Summer Class Descriptions
Meet & Move with Pascale - May 30th Playdate
Ages 2–3 at 8:30 AM | Ages 3–5 at 9:30 AM
Special Summer Play Session
Meet & Move with Pascale is a special pre-registered play session for families who want to visit the MOCO gym, meet Pascale, and get a feel for our Saturday movement classes. Children will have time to move, explore, climb, play, and build comfort in the gym in a welcoming, organized setting. This is not a drop-in open gym; space is limited and advance registration is required so we can keep the experience safe, engaging, and fun for each group.
Tots in Motion
Ages 2–3 | Saturdays at 8:30 AM | Parent/Child Class
Tots in Motion is a playful 45-minute parent/child class designed for young movers who are building confidence in their bodies and in group settings. Children will climb, balance, jump, crawl, explore obstacle courses, and practice early movement skills through purposeful play. This class supports body awareness, coordination, motor planning, early social participation, and comfort following simple group routines.
Kids in Motion
Ages 3–5 | Saturdays at 9:30 AM | Parent/Child Class
Kids in Motion helps preschool-aged children build strength, coordination, balance, confidence, and early group participation through movement-based play. Children will explore obstacle courses, climbing challenges, jumping activities, and guided games that support motor planning, body control, listening, turn-taking, and independence. This class is a great fit for children who are ready for more structured movement while still benefiting from caregiver support.
Skill Builders: Recess Ready
Ages 7–11 | Thursdays at 5:00 PM
Recess Ready is a small-group Skill Builders class designed to help children feel more confident during playground games, peer play, and active group activities. Children will practice ball skills, game rules, turn-taking, flexible thinking, teamwork, and social problem-solving in a supportive movement-based setting. This class helps children build the skills they need to participate more successfully in recess, PE, and community play.
Skill Builder: Agility
Ages 5–8 | Fridays at 1:00 PM
Agility is a movement-based Skill Builders class focused on coordination, balance, strength, speed, motor planning, and body control. Through obstacle courses, movement challenges, and active games, children will practice the foundational skills that support confidence in sports, playground play, and everyday movement. Activities are designed to be fun, motivating, and developmentally supportive.
Move & Groove: Dance in Motion
Ages 5–8 | Fridays at 2:00 PM
Move & Groove: Dance in Motion combines music, rhythm, creative movement, and dance to help children build coordination, sequencing, balance, confidence, and self-expression. Children will practice following movement patterns, participating in group routines, moving with control, and expressing themselves through playful dance activities. This class is a fun way to support both movement skills and confidence in a group setting.
